Megawati: Follow recommendations Parliament Indonesia

Sleman, Indonesia: Chairman of the Central Executive Board (DPP) Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) Megawati Seokarnoputri requested that the House of Representatives plenary session of Century Bank should be followed up with legal process.“What has been decided in the House of Representatives plenary should be immediately followed up the institutions of law enforcement,” he said after opening PDIP Konferda Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) in Sleman, Sunday (7/3/2010).
He said, related to allegations that state officials involved in the case of Century Bank scandal if it should be switched off or not, should wait for further legal process.
“As a political party had a representative of the PDIP faction in the Parliament is that we will see the first things that has become the recommendation of the factions in the plenary session of Century Bank scandal,” he said.
He said, PDIP in the disclosure Century Bank scandal case especially in the political sphere requires that followed through the legal process.
“I’ve heard the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has been following up on it, so just wait the results of the disclosure by law enforcement officers,” he said.
When asked the possibility of attempts brought up allegations of corruption that had befallen one of the cadre PDIP, Megawati said it would only wait.
“If that raised the tax issue is that they are friends of the Golkar Party. So, now I am as general chairman of the party it will see and wait what will be done against his party,” he said.
